What is DeMolay? DeMolay is fun.  DeMolay is and can be most anything you would like it to be.  We have sports, dances, all sorts of competitions in all sorts of areas and it's the largest fraternal (fraternity) organization for young men in the world.

We moved to town last year, and I didn’t know anybody. It was hard to make friends until I joined DeMolay. Now I have friends of all ages here and all around the state.

I didn’t even make the middle school JV team, but in DeMolay, everybody plays in a lot of sports, and everybody gets to have fun!

Going to college is important to me, and my family needs all the help we can get. Many of our sponsors offer DeMolay scholarships – you need to work hard, but at least I have a chance.

Learning our DeMolay ceremonies and talking in chapter meetings has helped me to learn in school and not be afraid to speak in class. That’s given me better grades and made my folks very happy.

There aren’t a lot of places guys my age can have fun, but in DeMolay we do all kinds of fun things – sports, trips to games, paintball, cards, and video nights – and the money the chapter raises means it doesn’t cost my parents a lot of money.

Helping others is important to me. In DeMolay we do child identification programs, collect donations for food banks, and visit children in Shriners and other hospitals.

In DeMolay, we have adults we can talk to about school, jobs, girlfriends, just about anything. That’s important for any young man as he grows up.

Sometimes guys get into trouble because of the people we hang out with. DeMolays may not be perfect, but our teachings help us try really hard to be respectful and always do the right thing.

In DeMolay, we do things most guys never do – like going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, visiting Boston and Canada, and even placing a wreath on the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington!

Being a part of the community is a great way to say thanks for helping me to grow up. In DeMolay, we march in parades, help with litter cleanups, even park cars for major fairs.
